On May 1st 2021, Blessed Virgin Mary Church was honored to receive His Excellency, Bishop Bernard Fellay, who administered the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation to 85 candidates. During his stay in Syracuse the students of Mater Dei Academy prepared a welcoming concert for him along with our Diocesan Bishop, Bishop Douglas Lucia. In the evening Bishop Fellay presented a history of the Society of Saint Pius X to the parish.
